Dear WSTLUR Authors,
After much deliberation, we have decided to postpone the WSTLUR conference. The uncertainty with the COVID-19 pandemic, travel restrictions, and economic consequences makes planning a safe and well-attended conference difficult. The conference will be rescheduled for August 2021, hosted by Portland State University, and held in Portland, OR. We will be sending out new information about the exact dates in the coming weeks.
Those who have already registered for the conference will receive a refund. We will re-evaluate the WSTLUR 2021 conference fee structure in light of any changes to conference expenses. However, we will make every attempt to keep these changes to a minimum. If you have made travel arrangements, please check with your airline and lodging for their requirements about refunds or credits.
We will have a new call in the Fall of 2020. Authors may submit new papers to conference tracks under this call. As with our previous conferences, a subset of the papers from the conference in 2021 will be invited to submit for publication in the Journal of Transportation and Land Use (JTLU).
In the meantime, we have decided to release the reviews of papers to the authors. Because the situation requires a new call, we have decided not to make any acceptance decisions for the conference or invitations to JTLU at this time. Please freely use the released reviews to improve your paper. You have several options for what to do with it:
Despite these extraordinary circumstances, we remain committed to the WSTLUR symposium series and creating a forum for scholarly discussion. However, at this time, we wish everyone to focus on a safe recovery from this pandemic.
Your conference co-chairs,
Kelly Clifton, Jennifer Dill, Yingling Fan
